Robot Microblasting Equipment PEENMATIC 1000 ZRA - Sandero
The PEENMATIC 1000 ZRA - Sandero is designed for the robot-assisted processing of workpieces, i.e. for serial, automatic, uniform microblasting of workpieces up to approx. 60x60x100 mm in large quantities. It can be adapted to other part sizes and shapes and consists of two chambers: The gripper head and the workpiece pallets are located in the robot cell. The second chamber contains the microblasting equipment with 4 individually programmable microblasting pistols and several blow-off nozzles.
Mode of operation
The workpieces are loaded manually on pallets into the storage system, 2 drawers are available. Loading can be automated for larger series.
The robot takes the workpiece individually from the pallet and guides it through the flexible sleeve made of abrasion-resistant material, which allows the robot arm a certain range of movement for processing the workpiece, into the microblasting equipment. A coupling is mounted in the sleeve, which is connected to the robot arm before it enters the microblasting cabinet and disconnected again after the microblasting process. This prevents microblasting agent and dust from escaping during the microblasting process. This system also protects the robot arm. The robot arm carries out the programmed microblasting movement in the microblasting equipment, whereby only the gripper is exposed to the microblasting agent. After the microblasting process, the workpiece is blown off cleanly in the microblasting chamber, deposited dust-free in the pallet and the cycle starts again from the beginning. To minimise wear, the microblasting chamber is equipped with wear protection at relevant points.
The recipe management is located on the PLC control unit. The manual control unit is equipped with a 10" touchscreen with graphic operator guidance. The 6-axis robot with gripper head integrated in the cell serves as a handling and movement system for palletising and loading the microblasting equipment.
